To paint a picture: I am a person with large ideas. It is not uncommon for me to be sent into a creative frenzy and end up with several pages of some new story, idea or project. I’m not the type to walk into work without a smile on my face. I get a creative rush from talking to people and creating stories from their experiences.
On the other side of the coin, I’m a serious worker who likes to do a great job in anything I produce. I’m a detail-oriented analyst. I am also extremely independent, in that I love problem-solving on my own; however, I am a team-player that likes to lead and inspire others through my work.

I currently work as a Digital Communications Coordinator at Consulting Management Innovators.
I am a graduate of Texas State University - San Marcos and received a bachelor of arts degree in public relations. I was an employee of the Office of University Marketing at Texas State. While working for the marketing department, I was given the opportunity to contribute to and monitor the university's social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, YouTube and the Texas State blog.
Along with my involvement with the Office of University Marketing, I gained experience in event promotions and database management through my role as a Communications intern at HealthStart Foundation.
I enjoy being aware of and involved in the community. I have had the opportunity to volunteer with the Texas State Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) as well as Texas State's annual charity, Bobcat Build.

I also serve as the Editorial Coordinator for clients’ digital and print publications. Internally, I oversee the creation and maintenance of a variety of materials including documents and web pages for all of CMI’s departments.
I worked with the American Heart Association in Houston, Texas, to expand their messaging platforms, increase attendance at their events, manage their databases and maintain an organized record of operations.
I update and monitor Texas State social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Flickr. I also write stories about the university for the Texas State blog.
With HealthStart Foundation, I helped promote the First Annual HealthStart Foundation Picnic by designing fliers, sending out press releases to media sources and planning the event space.
